A spectacular two-day guided hiking experience through the iconic Boesmanskloof Trail, linking Greyton and McGregor through the Riviersonderend Mountains. Led by a qualified field guide, the route takes you through dramatic mountain scenery, indigenous fynbos, steep gorges and clear mountain streams, with an overnight stay at Onverwacht Cottages before completing the return hike to Greyton on day two.

The Boesmanskloof Trail is approximately 14.5 km each way. On day one, hikers travel from Greyton to the McGregor side of the trail, with overnight accommodation provided at Onverwacht Cottages. The return hike to Greyton takes place on day two. Accommodation in Greyton before or after the hike is optional and can be booked separately through The Adventure Hub.

Led by a qualified field guide, guests gain insight into the region’s fascinating history, geology and unique Cape Floral Kingdom ecology while travelling through a protected conservation area. The package is designed as a fully supported hiking experience, allowing you to enjoy the mountains while The Adventure Hub takes care of the essential logistics, meals, permits, luggage transfer and overnight accommodation.
